He would attempt to mold three boys into following his killer footsteps, teaching them swear words and reading them fairy tales twisted to revolve around murder. In another session, Dr. Mixter asks which method of killing is his favorite. Charles confirms that he likes both planned and spontaneous killings, but spontaneous killings are the most fun and then the two start to dance.

One day, Charles is reading Peter Pan to the three boys when the homeowner, Ms. Janie, enters to congratulate him on his excellent care for kids. She asks the boys if they enjoyed the story, and one of them swears excitedly. Ms. Janie scolds him for his behavior and warns him not to repeat it, then walks away. Charles tries to catch up to her but the houses janitor gets angry with him for messing up the clean floor with dirty sneakers, and proceeds to wet his only pair of shoes with the filthy mop. This led to Charles slitting the janitor's throat, cutting off his hand, and jamming a hook into his stump and later dumps his body in the forest.

A few days later, he takes his group of three boys on a Peter Pan-esque adventure to get Captain Hook. He leads them through the forest and to the corpse of the janitor. Charles claims that the janitor is Captain Hook. Two of the boys run away screaming, but one stays with Charles, a boy named Eddie Caputo who simply pokes the corpse with a nearby stick as Charles looks on proud. Later that night, after the police arrive to investigate, Charles bids Eddie goodbye before making his escape, gifting him the janitor's severed hand in the process. The pair eventually crosses paths with another young woman sitting by herself, introducing themselves and giving her the chance to sleep with them. The three rent a room Hotel Hackensack and the two women make out as Charles watches. After sometime, he approaches them with a large kitchen knife, grabbing the woman by her hair and holding it to her face. However, after she only seems more excited by the thought of him killing, Charles decides to stab Delilah instead, brutally murdering her alongside the woman. Afterward, the two began to make out, with the woman introducing herself as Tiffany Valentine and Charles introducing himself as well, suggesting that she go blonde and he to go by Chucky.

Only having their interest peaked further, the two still agree to take the car. Just as Charles begins distracting the salesman, Tiffany approaches him from behind and slashes his throat with a nail file, splashing the front window with his blood. The couple enter their brand new vehicle and just before driving off, Tiffany notices Charles reading from a book titled The Ultimate Book of Voodoo, she asks why him why he was reading from the book but Charles quickly shuts her down, simply labelling it as a hobby.

Unknown date: Angela, a woman with schizophrenia, is put in Harrogate after being found on the streets.

1988[]

Unknown date: Charles and Tiffany leave Hackensack and relocate to Chicago, starting anew. The couple purchase their first apartment together, deeming it a suitable fit for their first co-owned place. Tiffany immediately begins throwing out suggestions for improvements that could be made. Charles suggests that they should order a pizza for the first time in the new city, exciting Tiffany. Upon the pizza boy's arrival with their food, the two brutally murder him and get intimate with each other while still eating the pizza, expressing their like for deep dish but still missing New Jersey pizza. All the while, the corpse of the pizza boy lay bleeding out in their bathroom as the two make out.

It was during this time in Chicago that Charles would become the high-profile serial killer known as The Lakeshore Strangler, earning the attention of homicide detective Mike Norris. Around this time, Charles would also come into contact with a voodoo doctor named John Bishop, who would provide him with various ritualistic objects, including the Heart of Damballa and a Voodoo Knife. Charles would also secretly buy another apartment for the sole purpose to worship Damballa, as well as coming back into contact with Eddie Caputo.

Later that year, unbeknownst to Tiffany, Charles would become acquainted with the Pierce family through a mutual friend in Chicago. On a summers day, during a cookout, he is introduced to Daniel Pierce, his pregnant wife Sarah, and their young daughter Barb. Charles remarks how the young girl has her mother's eyes. Over time, Charles became infatuated with Sarah, growing into an obsessive love for the woman and wanting her all to himself. During this obsession, Charles would grow noticeably distant from Tiffany, preferring to murder by himself and actively avoid spending time with her. One night, Charles ended up subduing Daniel on his way home from work and brutally drowns the man, leaving Sarah a widow but allowing Charles to continue stalking her.

November 4[]

At Daniel's funeral, Sarah notices Charles staring at her and gets suspicious of him. Later in the day, he manages to kidnap her, holding her hostage within an abandoned warehouse and frequently brings her sunflowers as a romantic gesture.

November 5[]

Charles became the chief suspect in the kidnapping of Sarah. A police officer would stop him in order to ask questions but would get shot in the process.

November 8[]

Tiffany would leave to go shopping, while Charles would venture out alone to find a woman and brings her back to their apartment. Around eleven, Tiffany returns from the store to find Charles killing the victim without her. She becomes upset as they have to kill together, which Charles brushes her off claiming he has a life outside of her. Tired of listening to Tiffany's whining, he puts on his coat and storms out of the apartment. Unbeknownst to him, she then calls Detective Mike Norris with information about Charles. Later on, Tiffany finds a ring on the mantle. Thinking Charles was planning to marry her, she regrets her actions.

November 09[]

Charles visits Sarah after buying sunflowers while his accomplice Eddie waits outside in their getaway van. He approaches the restrained woman and proudly shows her a new batch of sunflowers he had picked out for her, removing the gag in her mouth in order to hear her thoughts. After taking a shaky breath, she compliments them and thanks him for thinking of her. As he attempts to leave to pick up Barb from daycare, Sarah stops him and offers some alone time between them, however, he expresses his want for family time, believing himself to be a part of their family. However, she ultimately breaks down and explains how his infatuation for them was not love, causing him to grow angry, but before he could anything, police sirens suddenly begin in the streets outside. Sarah, now confident she would live, begins chastising Charles for his actions, causing him to grow even more angry and holds a knife to her pregnant stomach, stabbing down and causing the baby to be paralysed from the waist down.

Fully believing it was Sarah who alerted the police and not Tiffany, Charles runs from the crime scene and toward the getaway van. On his way out onto the street, Charles is suddenly spotted by Detective Norris and is chased down the street while engaging in a gunfight, being shot several times and Eddie driving away without him. Norris also alerts other nearby officers of Ray's location, causing him to become surrounded. This leads to him finally being cornered outside of the entrance to Playland Toys which he entered and attempted to hide inside of, still being relentlessly pursued by Norris. While hiding behind some nearby Good Guy dolls, Charles attempts to get a shot off on Norris, only to be shot in the chest by the detective instead. Now starting to succumb to his wounds, Ray falls back and begins yelling out to Norris, promising to get revenge on him and Eddie for what they had done. Recalling his knowledge of voodoo, Ray locates a vessel, a Good Guy doll, and begins chanting a ritual, causing a thunderstorm to approach outside. As Charles Lee Ray finally dies, he successfully manages to transfer his soul into the doll, possessing it and leaving his corpse behind for Norris to discover, making him and the public believe that The Lakeshore Strangler had been brought to justice.

In the raid on the toy store, the doll containing Ray's soul was lost and eventually discovered by a nearby vagrant, who took the doll into his possession to sell for cash.

In the morning, a widowed woman named Karen Barclay and her friend, Maggie Peterson, approach the vagrant and offers him money for it to give to Karen's son, Andy, for his birthday as he desperately wanted one. After some aggressive negotiating, Karen finally settles on paying thirty dollars for the doll. She then takes it back into work at Carson Pirie Scott & Co., excited to bring the doll home to surprise Andy. After getting home, Karen hands an excited Andy the wrapped Good Guy box and watches as the young boy displays his excitement at the sight of a Good Guy doll. Upon asking how it worked, Karen watches as Andy asked the doll it's name, to which it replies that it's name was "Chucky", and that Andy is his new friend to the end. Andy then hugs his mother as a thank you as Chucky looks at the two eerily.

That night, while Karen works an extra shift, Andy is babysat by his Aunt Maggie, who helps herself to leftover birthday cake in the kitchen as Andy plays with Chucky and a Good Guy construction set in the living room. As a news report comes on the television reporting that Eddie had managed to escape police custody earlier that night and gone into hiding, Chucky suddenly turns his head to watch which catches the attention of Andy, causing him to snap back into position and utter a playful phrase. Maggie then instructs Andy to start getting ready for bed but before he can, Chucky whispers a request into his ear. Andy then explains to Maggie that Chucky wants to watch the 9 o'clock news to get more information on Eddie Caputo. However, Maggie dismisses the request and lifts both Andy and Chucky to bed herself and leaves him to brush his teeth as she cleans dishes. During this time, Chucky manages to sneak back into the living room undetected and switches the news back on, startling her. Annoyed by a seemingly harmless prank, Maggie grabs Chucky and confronts Andy in the bathroom, believing him to have placed the doll there in an attempt to stay awake past his bedtime. Despite Andy declaring his innocence, Maggie still shuts him down and tucks him into bed alongside Chucky before leaving him to get some sleep. Andy sadly tells Chucky that he knew Maggie would be angry at his trick before giving him a kiss on the cheek and going to sleep. As he sleeps, Chucky crepes out of the bedroom and stalks Maggie from the shadows, who was startled at first and calls out Andy's name, believing the small figure to be him. Chucky then quietly moves a chair next to a door and spills a jar of flower to mess with Maggie's head, who is even more startled once Karen calls on the phone to check in on Andy. As the call calms Maggie's nerves, Chucky swiftly grabs a nearby hammer from Andy's playset and climbs onto the counter behind her. As she turns, Chucky slams the hammer into her Maggie's forehead with enough force that she flies backward and falls out of a nearby window, falling to her death on the streets below. After the police are called upon the discovery of Maggie's corpse, they immediately began an investigation on the Barclay's apartment and were shocked when Karen returns home from work, worried sick about her son. After she makes sure he is alright and informed of Maggie's death, Detective Mike Norris, the lead on the Charles Lee Ray case, notices footprints in the flour spilled on the bench, clearly being child-sized. After Andy runs up to them, Karen tells him to run off to bed, only for Norris to ask to see the bottom of his shoes, which resembles the pattern in the footprints. Upon returning to bed, Andy asks Chucky who sat across from him, about the importance of his sneakers, before noticing the same pattern on Chucky's sneakers. An excited Andy then runs back to Norris and told him that Chucky was the one who was walking on the kitchen counter, making the police think Andy is more mentally unwell than they thought. After they leave, Chucky and Andy speak to each other in Andy's room about Chucky's true identity as Charles Lee Ray, catching the attention of a worried Karen, who then asks Andy what the pair were talking about. Once Andy begins saying that Maggie had gotten what she deserved, Karen yells at him that Chucky is just a doll and to stop making up stories, which Andy complies just to stop being yelled at. Settling down, Karen places Andy into bed and worriedly puts the doll next to him.

November 10[]

After Andy is dropped off at school by Karen, Chucky influences the young boy to ditch that day and catch the subway to a rougher part of town, heading toward one of Charles Lee Ray's old safe houses where Eddie Caputo had set up shop since his latest escape. Shortly after arriving, Andy leaves Chucky on a nearby chair to go off to tinkle. Seeing this chance, Chucky quickly leaps from the chair and runs toward the house, quietly opening the front door and making his way inside as Eddie lay sleeping in the living room. He then enters the kitchen and opens the creaky stove, startling Eddie, and switching on the gas and removing the gas line. Now wary of an intruder, Eddie begins patrolling the house but Chucky manages to make a quiet escape to head back outside toward Andy, who was looking for him. Just then, Eddie shoots his gun into the kitchen, catching light next to the exposed gas and causing the house to explode completely, brutally killing Eddie as revenge. Shortly after, both Andy and Chucky are found by the police and brought back to the precinct, which Karen arrives at as soon as they call her. After explaining things to her and bringing her into the room with Andy and Chucky, Karen explains to the former that unless he begin telling the truth about these deaths, he would be taken away into psychiatric evaluation. Andy then desperately attempts to get Chucky to reveal the truth to everyone, only to be ignored and taunted by the doll's robotic reply. A psychiatrist named Dr. Ardmore then takes Andy into a psychiatric facility and Chucky returns home with a devastated Karen. After attempting to make the doll talk to her, Karen quickly comes to her senses and goes to the kitchen for a glass of water, noticing the Good Guy box in the corner of the room. Upon inspecting it, she notices that the included batteries are still in the box. Now shaken, she approaches Chucky and slowly checks his back for batteries and is horrified to discover it is empty. The doll then suddenly turns it's head around to stare at her and aggressively speaks before being thrown to the ground. Now agitated, Karen lights up the fireplace and threatens to burn Chucky if he doesn’t speak, causing him to eerily spring to life and attack her, biting her in the process. After she throws him across the room, Chucky takes his chance and escapes out of the front door and into the streets of Chicago. Desperate for help, Karen reaches out to detective Norris. However, as he refuses to believe her story, she sets out to find the peddler who sold Chucky to her. Detective Norris warns her that the area is not a safe place at night, but Karen vows to free her son and leaves. When she catches up to the peddler, he wants money for the answer. Nevertheless, as Karen does not have anything, he attempts to rape her. Fortunately, Norris had been following her, and manages to save her before she could be hurt. He forces the peddler answer the question, which turned out to be a burned out toy store. Mike is disturbed by this, and at first refuses to tell Karen. After some coaxing, he explains that he had killed the notorious Charles Lee Ray in that store the same night. He drives her home, and as they reach her apartment, Karen tries to warn Mike that the doll is not safe. Still refusing to believe, he makes her get out of the car. Eventually, Chucky finds his way into the police cruiser of Detective Norris and stalks him from the backseat as he studies Charles Lee Ray's case file, now suspicious of foul play being involved in the Barclay's case. As Norris was driving, Chucky suddenly lunges at him and wraps a cord around his neck and the headrest of his seat, taunting him as he strangles him and as the car swerves through the streets. Panicking, Norris manages to burn a piece of plastic flesh from Chucky's face, causing him severe pain and forcing him to let go of the wire. Now on the floor of the car, he suddenly begins stabbing through Norris' seat with a knife, still causing the car to swerve as he attempts to avoid being stabbed. After some time, Chucky finally crawls underneath the seat and pushes on the pedals, causing Norris to finally crash and tip the car on it's head. Now at somewhat of an advantage, Chucky runs out from the crash and continues stabbing at Norris from the broken windows, avoiding gunshots in the process. However, before he could land a killing blow, Norris finally lands a shot directly into Chucky's chest, sending him flying backward but allowing him to escape.

November 11[]

Chucky visits John Bishop, also known as Dr. Death, and shows off his new body that Bishop's own voodoo spells granted him. However, despite the benefit he believed he had of being invincible, Chucky explains that after Norris had shot him, he felt that pain and even bled from his wound. Still shaken from seeing Ray again, Bishop explains that the longer he remains in the doll body, the more human the doll will become, causing him to bleed. He then curses Chucky out, accusing him of being evil and using the magic provided by voodoo for his own selfish gain. Angered and still desperate for answers, Chucky grabs a nearby voodoo doll and knife bound to Bishop and begins snapping his limbs, torturing him for answers. After some time, Bishop painfully explains that in order to escape his fate, Chucky will have to transfer his soul into the body of the first human he revealed himself to, that being Andy. Excited at the thought of being young again, Chucky begins to leave the room, but not before stabbing the voodoo doll in the heart. Later on after finding out from Norris that Charles Lee Ray was a user of voodoo and discovers that his mentor was John, Karen and Mike go to John's place to discover him on the ground dying. As Norris calls the ambulance, Karen goes to John as he tells her Chucky's plan before dying. Seeking to transfer his soul into Andy's body, Chucky tracks down and infiltrates the psychiatric facility in which he is being held and gets up to his floor by navigating the fire escape. He then investigates the office and notices the key to Andy's room and the room number, allowing him easy to access to his target. After unlocking the door, Chucky notices what appears to be Andy hiding under the covers. He slowly approaches the bed and jumps on top, only to reveal the figure to be a pillow Andy had placed under the covers before escaping from the room. However, Andy is quickly noticed by Dr. Ardmore, who grabs him and restrains him in a nearby operating room. Chucky manages to get close to them and stabs Ardmore before strapping an electric shock device to his head, giving him a violent electric shock therapy session, completely frying his brain and killing him. A horrified Andy only watches on before being able to escape from the room, being followed closely by the doll. Mike, along with Karen and his partner Jack, he investigates the murder of Dr. Ardmore before he and Karen rush to her apartment. Andy fleeds to the one place he felt safe, Karen's apartment. As he prepares to hide within the dark apartment, Chucky resumes his position as an inanimate doll and makes his way up the building's elevator, appearing to simply be left by a child. He then descends down the chimney of the apartment, hoping to catch Andy off guard, and begins to stalk the halls with his knife in hand. He eventually jumps out on the young boy, who is holding a baseball bat and attempts to hit Chucky, being unsuccessful and running away into the kitchen. Now armed with a baseball bat, Chucky is able to quickly come upon Andy hiding beside the kitchen counter, bashing him over the head and knocking him out. With his victim incapacitated, Chucky begins reciting the spell to transfer his soul into Andy's body, however, he begins panicking upon hearing Karen and Norris quickly approaching the apartment. Karen is then able to get there in time and pulls Chucky off of Andy, which results in him biting her neck in anger. However, Norris quickly grabs and throws him across the room, allowing him to stab Norris in the leg and quickly hide further within the apartment. As Karen tends to Andy, Norris patrols the apartment for any sign of Chucky, only for the demon doll to suddenly charge at him with the baseball bat, hitting him in the stomach and head. However, before he could deliver the finishing blow, Karen appears in the door and shoots Chucky in the stomach. However, her gun suddenly jams and Chucky is able to charge at her as well, pushing her to the ground and biting her neck. She is then able to push him back and force him into the fireplace, locking him in with the cover. She then calls for Andy to bring her a match, which he does, and the lights it. Seeing how close to death he is, Chucky begins pleading with Andy, explaining that they were supposed to be friends to the end. However, Andy doesn’t give into the doll's mind games and drops the lit match into the fireplace, setting Chucky aflame and causing him to scream in pain. Eventually, after an attempt to put himself out, a charred Chucky suddenly lays limp on the floor, appearing to have died from his burns. Karen and Andy then return to the bedroom to treat Norris' wounds, not realizing Chucky is still alive and had hidden himself in the shadows. As Andy runs through the apartment to locate a first aid kit, Chucky trips the boy up and menacingly approaches him with a melted knife. Andy then runs back to the bedroom and Karen attempts to hold the door closed as Chucky bashes into it and sticks his arms through, begging her to give him Andy to save his soul. He then suddenly abandons the door and runs to another one of the room's entrances, continuing to fight with Karen to rip the door open. After a chase, Chucky manages to corner both of them in the hallway and slowly approaches them, only to have his head shot off by Karen, falling to the floor and receiving several more gunshots into his charred body. Afterward, Norris' partner, Jack Santos appears on the scene and expresses disbelief in the trio's story. Just then, a headless Chucky sneaks into the vents and grabs Santos by the neck, only to be ripped off of him by Karen and thrown across the room. Norris then raises his gun and shoots Chucky directly in the heart, finally killing him. With the nightmare over, she takes her son and Mike to the hospital.

November 25[]

At some point, most likely due to trauma, the Pierce family would move into a secluded estate in Highgate, Rhode Island. Nica Pierce is born in Providence, Rhode Island.

1989[]

Unknown date: After the murders, the police denied Andy's story, and his mother Karen, who backed up her son's testimony, was sent to psychiatric evaluation.

1990s[]

1990[]

October[]

Unknown date: After receiving bad publicity, Play Pals has acquired Chucky to prove the stockholders that the doll is normal. They begin rebuilding him. Sullivan, CEO of Play Pals, and Mattson, an executive, make their way to the building that Chucky is getting rebuilt. When inside, Mattson discloses the backstory and rumors of the doll. As Mattson and Sullivan watch the technicians finish the rebuilding, one of the technicians is electrocuted and killed when the machine inserts Chucky's eyes into his sockets and flys backwards through the glass window. Paramedics later come to take away the body. Sullivan orders Mattson to cover up the technician's death and to get rid of Chucky. Meanwhile, Andy has been in foster care ever since his mother was institutionalized for backing up Andy's story about the killer doll. In counseling, Andy’s counselor says that Chucky is just a scary nightmare. Phil and Joanne Simpson are called to the Midtown Children's Crisis Centre by Grace Poole, where she hopes that they will foster Andy. Joanne instantly feels compassion for Andy, unlike Phil who is wary of if they are even qualified to handle such a complex case. Grace insists that all Andy needs is a normal family environment to help give him a fresh start. In the car, they ask Andy what his favorite food is but Phil gets distracted and is almost hit by a Play Pals semi, which worries Andy. At their house, Andy explores the living room, Phil explains that he is not to touch their old antiques, especially a porcelain statue which has been in Joanne's family for three generations. After they send Andy upstairs, he meets Kyle, who has been with the Simpsons for three weeks. Joanne happens to come up the stairs as Andy enters Kyle's room, and scolds her for smoking. When Joanne asks Kyle to help with dinner, she remarks that she has to work this evening, as she needs to save up money when she's out of the foster program next year. Andy sees his new room and explores it. When he looks in the closet, a Good Guy doll hits the floor which scares Andy. Phil comes in to see Andy screaming and scolds him for running inside, but Joanne diffuses the situation when she realizes he was scared by the doll. She takes the doll downstairs, and puts Andy to bed. At Play Pals, Mattson is unsure about what to do with the doll, so after work he attempts to stuff him in the trunk of his BMW, but is unable to close the lid due to it already being full of other Play Pals products. Instead he tosses Chucky in the back seat, which is also loaded with Play Pals products, and drives to a liquor store to buy vodka for him and his wife to celebrate their two week anniversary. While Mattson is away, Chucky uses his phone to contact the orphanage. Grace is making photocopies while trying to get another foster child named Sammy to go to sleep. Chucky says he is Andy’s uncle to get his location. In the store, the sale is disapproved as the store is a cash-only business and won't accept his credit card. Mattson then rushes outside when he hears his BMW's alarm going off, but sees nothing out of the ordinary. He decides to get into his car and drive away. While Mattson is driving, Chucky threatens him from the back seat with a water pistol, and demands that he continue driving. After they pass the Simpson residence where Andy is now living, Chucky instructs him to park the car in a vacant parking lot. He orders him to put his arms behind the seat, and ties his hands together with a jump rope. He pleads desperately with Chucky, saying he has no cash on hand, but telling him that he can take the car and his credit card. As Mattson begins to break down and cry, Chucky shoots the water pistol at Mattson's face, and then starts laughing, and Mattson nervously joins in. As he looks in the rear view mirror, he becomes confused as he cannot see a person behind him. Suddenly, Chucky throws a Good Guy branded plastic bag over his head and pulls tight, until he eventually dies from suffocation. Entering the house, Chucky finds that there already is a Good Guy doll there, named Tommy. He breaks the doll with a glass antique, buries it in the backyard, and then proceeds to pose as him. While this is happening, Joanne is singing Andy a bedtime story.

The next day, Andy and Kyle are called into the kitchen by Phil when Joanne's porcelain statue is found smashed. As neither admits they destroyed it, Phil grounds them both until someone confesses their guilt, which upsets Kyle as she had a date planned. The two head downstairs to do laundry, where Kyle blames Andy for breaking the statue. When Andy tells her he thinks Phil is grouchy, she reveals to him that she had been with much worse foster families, including ones that would physically hurt her whenever she made a mistake. Andy hides behind the basement door to eavesdrop on Joanne and Phil. He discloses that he is having second thoughts about taking in such a troubled boy, especially as he has not come to terms with the "doll thing". Although Phil believes Andy needs more attention than they can provide, Joanne reminds him that he has been through a lot and just needs more time. Andy manages not to get caught and walks into the living room. He sees Chucky posing as Tommy and says that he hates him. Chucky almost gives himself away but Andy checks his back to see if he has batteries in him, he has. This makes Andy convinced that it’s not Chucky and takes him to the basement. He follows her outside and plays on a swing as she gardens, asking more questions about her childhood. When she takes a turn on the swing, Andy gets behind her and pushes her, allowing them to share a brief moment of bonding. Every time Andy pushes Kyle, they are closer to digging up the Good Guy doll Chucky buried. This makes Chucky worry but are called inside by Phil. Andy takes Chucky inside. Later, Joanne sews Kyle a scarf as Phil enters the room. She remarks that she wants to get Andy someone to help him get more settled, to which Phil jokingly answers Valium. In Andy’s room, Chucky ties up Andy to his bed and gags his mouth, revealing himself. Chucky tries to do the voodoo chant to transfer his soul. However, before he can finish, Kyle sneaks back into the house through Andy's window from seeing her boyfriend. After she removes the sock in his mouth, Andy screams for her to kill Chucky. The noise alerts Phil and Joanne, who believe that she tied him up to stop him from ratting her out for sneaking out of the house. Phil thinks she's pulling a sick joke, and from Andy's protests about the doll, throws it into the basement. After Phil, with Andy by him, shuts the door and leaves, Chucky gets up and realizes that he is bleeding.

The next morning, Andy is going to his first day of school. Joanne packs him an egg salad. Kyle escorts Andy to the bus. On the way, she warns him not to act nervous or the other students will know he's a new kid. She notices Andy periodically looking behind him, and mocks him about Chucky coming to get him. Before Andy gets on the bus, he remarks that she's just like everyone else and doesn't believe him. She meets up with her friends. Chucky follows Andy by hiding under the bus he’s on. During recess, Chucky creeps into the classroom, and finds Andy's test paper. He then writes obscenities on it. After recess, while Miss Kettlewell, his teacher, reads a story about Pinocchio, Andy tells the boy sitting behind him to leave him alone after he flicks his ear. Walking over to Andy, she remarks that she has little patience for disruptions, and that as a new student he should be concerned about getting on her good side. Just as the bell rings, Miss Kettlewell tells the students to clean up before they can leave. She walks back to her desk and flips through the test papers, and sees Andy's obscenity-filled paper. As Andy puts his toys into his cubby, he finds Chucky inside and jolts back, unaware Miss Kettlewell is right behind him. She scolds Andy, who insists that Chucky was the one who wrote on his paper. She forces him to stay at his desk for detention, and locks Chucky into the maintenance closet. Locking Andy inside the classroom, she leaves to phone Phil and Joanne. Andy tries to call for help to anybody on the other side of the locked door, but to no avail. Chucky begins shouting from the closet for Andy to let him out, but Andy instead escapes by opening the window and running home. Miss Kettlewell returns and finds Andy missing, but hears the rattling of the doorknob coming from the closet. Assuming that Andy is hiding from her, she unlocks the closet door and begins searching for him, to no avail. Suddenly, she is startled as a kickball bounces down while she looks through sports uniforms. As she places the ball back on the top shelf, Chucky stabs her in the chest with an air pump. She is sent flying backwards into the desks as Chucky pushes down on the pump handle. Chucky finally emerges from the closet, with a yardstick in hand, and begins to advance toward Kettlewell. She can only scream in terror as Chucky beats her to death with the yardstick. When Andy comes home, Phil confronts him about his test paper, and Andy explains that Chucky did it. Phil takes him to the basement to prove the doll is not alive and surprisingly to him, Chucky is there. In the evening, Phil and Joanne argue about fostering Andy, as he insists the boy needs professional help. Joanne snaps back that he never wanted to take Andy in the first place, and if they send Andy back to the Crisis Centre it will be more traumatizing for him. Phil does not back down, and insists that if Andy stays he will only tear their family apart. When she asserts that families don't give up on their children, Phil counters that he is not their child. Andy hears this conversation in his room and he is sad. Kyle goes to Andy's room and comforts him over his fears of where he will go if they send him away. He says it doesn’t matter and Chucky will always find him.

In the middle of the night, Andy takes matters into his own hands and arms himself with a knife and proceeds into the basement to kill Chucky. After deep investigation, Chucky drops down on Andy and attacks him. Before Chucky can overpower him, Phil opens the basement door to see Andy holding the electric knife. He slowly descends the staircase as he tells the boy to put down the knife, unaware of Chucky hiding underneath the stairs. He hooks Phil's leg, leaving him dangling upside-down briefly on the edge of the stairs. Phil screams at the sight of Chucky until he is dropped, with the resulting fall breaking his neck and killing him instantly. Kyle and Joanne enters the basement just as Phil is killed, and becomes distraught at losing her husband. As Andy tries to approach her, she screams at him to get away. As the paramedics take Phil's body away, Joanne makes the decision to send Andy back with Grace to the Children's Crisis Centre, blaming herself for not listening to her husband earlier. Now there, Grace reassuring Andy that things will work out and she will find him a new family in a few days. Before he leaves, Andy warns Kyle that Chucky is still in the basement. When the paramedics finally exit the house, Kyle grabs Chucky and walks to the backyard, throwing Chucky in the garbage can. Chucky sneaks back into the house as Joanne is sewing. He gags her and slits her throat. While smoking on the swing set, she feels something under the dirt and digs it up. She uncovers a damaged Good Guy doll. Shocked, she goes back to the garbage can and opens the lid, but finding nothing. Now knowing that Chucky is alive, she grabs a knife and rushes to Joanne's bedroom, only to find her bloody corpse tied to a chair. Kyle is then assaulted by Chucky, who subdues her and forces her to drive him to the Crisis Centre. While driving, Chucky gets impatient and asks how much further to get to Andy. When Kyle asks why he’s in a rush, he gets mad at her. A cop chases after Kyle as she is speeding. Chucky tries to get her to speed up but the vehicle their in is a station wagon so they pull over. Kyle’s reasoning she was speeding was that she has a date but the cop doesn’t believe it. The cop notices Chucky and gets excited. He asks for his name so Chucky says his name with his real voice. He laughs until Chucky’s nose starts bleeding and gets creeped out. Kyle says that Good Guy dolls bleed so he gives Kyle a warning before she drives away. At the Crisis Centre, Grace tucks Andy in his bed but he gets out of bed after she leaves to protect himself from Chucky. In the car, Kyle thinks fast to free herself from Chucky. She steps on the brakes, causing the doll to smash through the windshield. She attempts to ram into him by driving straight into a chainlink fence, and cautiously exits the car when she thinks she succeeded. However, he jumps onto her back and holds her at knifepoint, forcing her to walk to the Crisis Centre and pull the fire alarm. As everyone is evacuated, Grace and Andy stop in the staircase and see Kyle holding Chucky. Chucky secretly has a knife behind Kyle’s back. When Grace asks if Kyle pulled the alarm, she quietly says Chucky did it. Believing this is a joke, Grace angrily pulls Andy and Kyle into her office. When Grace takes the doll from her, Chucky suddenly comes alive and raises his knife to her. He stabs her three times in the chest, causing her to fall against the photocopier that makes multiple copies of her face as she dies. Kyle and Andy try to escape but Chucky shuts the door on Andy and makes him get out of the building through the window. Although Kyle eventually breaks through the door, she is too late as Chucky already escaped with Andy. When outside, Chucky forces him to get in the newspaper truck that’s getting blocked in by the fire trucks. The newspaper truck drives away with Chucky and Andy in the hatch. Kyle runs outside to get back into her car and drives after them. In the truck, Chucky tries to transfer himself into Andy but Kyle honks her horn so he flips her off. Kyle forces the truck to pull over but Andy and Chucky already got out. After an altercation with the driver, Kyle breaks free and chases after Andy and Chucky as they run into the Play Pals factory. Andy and Chucky get inside but Kyle just barely makes it in also. Inside the factory, Chucky knocks Andy unconscious, and begins the chant. He successfully says it but it is too late for him to transfer his soul now; Chucky is trapped as a doll forever. Enraged by this, Chucky attempts to kill Andy but Kyle finally catches up to them, pushing a mound of Good Guy boxes onto Chucky to allow Andy to run away. Chucky screams. Andy catches up with Kyle as they run away together. They get lost in the maze of Good Guys boxes until they find a conveyor belt. Kyle climbs it and successfully makes it to the top. Andy on the other hand almost makes it to the top but slides down. At the bottom, Chucky is there. Andy climbs back up with Chucky right behind him. When Andy gets up there, Kyle slams the gate onto Chucky's hand as they run away. Chucky manages to pull the arm free, losing the hand. Kyle and Andy find an exit door but it’s on the other side of a machine where eyes are inserted in the Good Guy dolls. After some trouble, the two make it to the other side but the door is locked so they try to find another route. Chucky finds a press to pull the knife handle out so he can put the blade in his own stump. He inserts it in and tapes it, replacing it with the knife. Due to the disturbance of the machine, the flow of the dolls has been ruined and now they are stacking against the machine. A technician notices the machine malfunctioning and goes to it. Kyle and Andy are by a molten plastic container and they notice a machine where limbs are added to the Good Guy dolls. Before some molten plastic lands on Andy, Kyle pulls him away. The technician gets to the eye machine and climbs onto the conveyor belt to tighten the screws. Chucky comes out of a vent. Before the technician can leave, Chucky sneaks up on him, slashing his cheek and causing him to collapse on the conveyor belt, He is killed as the machine re-activates, gouging out his eyes with fake plastic ones. Kyle and Andy notice a machine that leads to the limb machine, it adds hair to Good Guy dolls. Andy accidentally bumps into a button, which burns and adds limbs to a Good Guy doll. As they look behind them to see messed Good Guy dolls, Chucky appears behind them and tries to attack but is knocked over by Kyle and gets hair stapled on his testicles to the board he’s on as he screams in agony. Andy presses the button that turns on the conveyor belt and sends him to the limb machine. Chucky tries to plead to Andy to save him but is unsuccessful. Kyle gives him the middle finger before the limb machine’s door shuts. It opens again, revealing a mound of burnt plastic limbs. The two assume Chucky is dead but this machine only cut off his legs. While trying to leave the factory, Kyle is knocked unconscious by the technician's dead body by his feet, a trap set by Chucky, landing on the same conveyor belt that cut off Chucky's legs. Chucky once again tries to kill Andy, rolling himself over on a crate, he slashes at him but only slashes air tubes and gets his knife hand stuck in a grate. With Chucky stuck, Andy douses him with molten plastic. Andy then wakes Kyle up just before she gets decapitated by the limb machine. As the two inspect what they believe to be Chucky's corpse, he lunges at her neck. Grabbing a nearby air tube, she forces it into Chucky's mouth causing his head to inflate and eventually explode, which finally kills him. Both Andy and Kyle leave the factory together, towards uncertain futures.

Unknown date: After eight years, Play Pals has recovered from the bad publicity arising from Chucky. The toy factory is dusted, swept, and reopened for business. As they decide to recycle the old dolls for new ones, Chucky's blood is unknowingly included in the batch after his corpse is lifted up above it. With his blood melding with the molten plastic, he is once again brought to life (this body is the same one that was lifted up, just with a new head, lower body, and left arm). In a meeting, the company considers if re-releasing the Good Guys is a good idea until CEO Haskell Sullivan decides it is, this leaves employe Miles disappointed. They are interrupted by his assistant when he gives Sullivan a Good Guy doll, the first one of the assembly line. Unknown to him, it is Chucky. He brings the doll back to his apartment, he is left by himself when his assistant takes business papers home to review. Later that night, Sullivan works on his computer, unaware that Chucky has escaped from the Good Guy box. Chucky toys around with Sullivan until he takes a golf club and hits him in the head with it. Sullivan attempts to flee, but Chucky throws a dart into his back, paralyzing him from the waist down. While on the ground, Sullivan crawls back to his desk and tries to call for help only to receive another dart to his hand, before finally being strangled to death with string from a yo-yo. Afterwards, Chucky steps over Sullivan's corpse and uses his computer records to relocate Andy.

After failing to cope in several foster homes, a now 16 year old Andy has been enrolled into Kent Military Academy in Brownsville, Missouri as a last resort. He gets off the bus and goes to Colonel Cochrane, the school's commandant, agrees to let Andy in because he has had a rough life, but tells him to grow up and forget the killer doll fantasies. He sends Andy to Sergeant Botnick, the camp barber, to get a haircut. It’s here where Andy meets Ronald Tyler. After he is done getting his haircut, Andy is up next. Andy gets in the seat where Botnick talks about the military cut and its origin. As he cuts off Andy's long hair, a commercial for the return of the Good Guy dolls plays on the television on the table, which terrifies Andy but excites Tyler. After the haircut, Andy is sent to his bunk. He starts to unpack but hears a noise in the closet. With hesitation, he opens the door, revealing another student named Harold Whitehurst tied and gagged. They introduce themselves and Whitehurst says to be careful around cadet colonel lieutenant Brett C. Shelton. Later in the day, all of the students are lined up outside for formation, led by Shelton. Shelton introduces himself to Andy, antagonizing him before moving on to Whitehurst. He calls Whitehurst pathetic, causing another student, Kristen De Silva, to stand up for him. As punishment, Shelton makes Kristen to 25 push-ups as he explains to the students that nobody here gets special treatment and only the fittest survive. Andy immediately takes a liking to her, as she does to him. After formation, Tyler heads over to the post office in hopes of receiving a letter from his dad. Although nothing came for him, he is asked to deliver a package to Andy, Chucky is in there. While taking it to Andy's room, he drops it by accident and it falls down the stairs, causing a rip. When he peers through the rip, he sees it’s a Good Guy doll. He takes it to the storage room so he can play with him. As he is looking at the doll, it suddenly comes to life and emerges from the box. After confusion, Chucky realizes that he no longer needs Andy for a new body and introduces himself to Tyler. Chucky is getting ready to transfer his soul into Tyler's body, and disguises his plans as a game. Before Chucky can complete the spell, Cochrane and another colonel enter the room and finds Tyler with the doll. As toys are against the rules, Cochrane confiscates Chucky. Tyler protests, only to be told he is not to question his superiors. During shooting practice, Andy does a terrible job at shooting a gun. Trying to find help, Whitehurst properly introduces Andy to Kristen, where he is impressed by her accurate shooting skills. As she teaches him how to properly aim his rifle, Andy mentions how he is grateful for her standing up for them to Shelton. Later, Shelton leads the students in a marching drill. He watches as Andy does not understand what to do, and orders him to fall out of formation. As Andy attempts to follow along with the drills, he spots Cochrane carrying Chucky to the dumpster and drops his rifle out of fear. Shelton and Major Ellis reprimand him for treating his rifle poorly, and continues on with the drills. Cochrane throws the doll in the dumpster just as the garbage man arrives in his truck. After the dumpster is emptied into the truck, he hears Chucky's voice shouting from inside and runs out to check. While he was searching around in the trash, Chucky slips out and into the driver's seat. Chucky then starts the truck's compressor. When the garbage man finally notices what it happening, it is too late for him to escape. As he tries to climb out, he sticks his arm out and it gets crushed by the hatch closing. His screams are heard by Kent students nearby, who rush over to the truck. Shelton tries to open the back compartment with little success and they all discover his corpse. At night, Andy unpacks his belongings as Whitehurst is forced to polish Shelton's shoes, spitting in them once he finishes. Before Whitehurst leaves the room to wash up, he tells Andy that he was supposed to have a package delivered to him today, which he never received. Chucky managed to break into Andy's room after killing the garbage man. Chucky hides under the bed where he slashes Andy’s ankle. Chucky tells Andy that he doesn’t need him no more as he has Tyler now. Andy throws Shelton's shoe at him and beats him on the ground. Shelton comes in and laughs. He takes Chucky from Andy, but then notices Andy scuffed one of the shoes Whitehurst polished. He gives Andy five demerits and tells him that he will be his new slave from now on. Before leaving the room, he confiscates the Chucky as he plans to give it to his younger sister for her birthday. As Andy is determined to get Chucky back, he breaks into Shelton's room at eleven to look for him. Andy finds a big knife missing. However Chucky manages to scare Andy, causing him to fall back onto Shelton and wake him up. He notices the doll is missing, and in order to weed out the thief he forces the male students to walk around in circles outside in the rain. This makes everyone hate on Andy. This comes to the attention of Cochrane, who comes out of his office and demands to know what is going on. Shelton tells him. Cochrane reluctantly permits this, but orders Shelton that all exercises are to conclude by 1:00 AM, confession or no confession. When Andy attempts to sneak away, Shelton stops him and punches him in the gut. When Andy retaliates by punching him in the jaw, Shelton drags him back to the group and forces all of them to do more intensive drills. Chucky finds Tyler's room but finds a note by him. Angered, he tries to find Tyler. Tyler hides behind a corner but he tells Chucky to keep on searching for him. Chucky finds Tyler in the closet of Colonel Cochrane's office and tries to do the ritual again.!However, the ritual gets thwarted as Kristen and Ivers sneak into the Colonel's office in order to access Andy's personnel record. They find the two hiding in the closet. They accuse Tyler of stealing from Shelton and figure Shelton will keelhaul him, but then decide to tease Tyler by putting lipstick on Chucky. When they hear the Colonel returning to his office, the girls escape quietly and take Tyler with them, leaving Chucky behind. As soon as he returns to his office, he finds Chucky on the floor and throws him in the trash. He begins to walk away, but is startled as Chucky has vanished from the trash bin. Chucky then jumps out from behind the desk screaming at him, with a knife in his hand. However, before Chucky can strike, Cochrane suffers from a fatal heart attack from the shock of seeing the doll alive. Cochrane falls over backwards onto a display of the school grounds, shattering it. His body is taken away by paramedics shortly after, with his death ruled as natural causes.

The next morning during breakfast, the students have to honor Colonel Cochrane. They then sit down. Botnick skulks through the cafeteria to check on the lengths of the students' haircuts, picking some out to come to his station for a haircut. He points out Whitehurst's disgraceful hair, and tells him to come for a trim right after he's finished breakfast. Andy gets up to go to Tyler but someone makes him trip, making everyone laugh. Andy approaches Tyler and tells him that Chucky is bad. Tyler snaps that he is just jealous that Chucky did not pick him first. Still worried for Tyler's life, Andy decides to give him a pocketknife in case Chucky strikes again. While Botnick shaves Whitehurst's hair, he ridicules him for being the sorriest excuse for a soldier that has ever come to Kent, and remarks that he is not cut out to be a soldier. When Botnick asks why he doesn't just leave Kent, Whitehurst comments that he would if he had a choice. He leaves once after being shaved. Botnick finds Chucky hiding in one of his cabinets. He decides, as a laugh, to give the doll a buzzcut. However, Chucky turns the tables and slashes his throat with a razor. Botnick struggles momentarily before finally collapsing and dying in his chair. Whitehurst then walks back into the room to retrieve his jacket, and is horrified by the sight of Chucky and Botnick's corpse. Despite Cochrane's death, the annual paintball war game will proceed as scheduled, told by Sergeant Clark. Whitehurst makes it outside and gets into the blue team's formation. While the war game is getting demonstrated, Chucky is in the armory replacing paint ball’s with live ammunition in the red team's rifles. They then retrieving their rifles. The two teams march and sing down the avenue before going their separate ways. Andy notices that Whitehurst is fidgeting. Andy realizes that he has seen Chucky, and tries to confront him over this as their team marches to their base camp. Despite Andy's pleas to save Tyler, Whitehurst refuses to help or speak about Chucky. At base, lots of tents has been set up. Shelton sends some of his men to do reconnaissance on the location of the red team's base, keeping this map in his tent. Kristen tells a scary story over a campfire. When Andy leaves the fire, Kristen follows after him, concerned her story offended him. She leads him over to a cliff overlooking a carnival, where they trade first names and share a kiss. Chucky stalks them. With Andy back at camp, he and Whitehurst settle into their tent to sleep. However, Andy has no intention of sleeping as he stole Shelton's map and is setting out to find Tyler. He again asks for Whitehurst's help, but he insists that he can't. Andy sets out to find Tyler. When Shelton discovers his reconnaissance map is missing, he decides that his team must leave their camp now, instead of at dawn like they originally intended. As Ellis gets the team ready to leave, he notices Whitehurst hesitating. When he questions him on the missing map, he and Shelton discover that Andy is missing, and realizes he is the thief. The team leaves camp to track Andy down. Shelton tells Kristen to go her own way with a radio. Andy gets to the red team's base camp and asks a kid where Tyler is, he says someone named Charles went awol with him. Deep within the woods, Chucky reveals his true plans to the boy, whom realizes that Chucky is not a good guy after all. Remembering the pocketknife, he stabs Chucky in the shoulder, and makes a run for it. Andy hears Tyler's voice but the rest of the blue team corner him. Andy tries to get Whitehurst to back him up but he doesn’t. Ellis calls in Kristen with no answer. Chucky jumps on top of Kristen from a tree and holds her hostage with a grenade. Tyler comes up running to Andy but Ellis captures him. Tyler tells everyone Chucky tried to hurt him. They wonder who he is. Chucky uses her radio to contact Andy, demanding Tyler be brought to the old Jeep or else he will kill Kristen. However, at the same time he uses the radio to advice the red team to come to the old Jeep as well. Shelton has his team follow behind Andy and Tyler, believing this to be a ploy by the red team. As Andy gives Tyler to Chucky and the blue team shoots paintballs at the jeep, the red team arrives at the area and exchanges fire with the blue team. Chucky starts laughing, Tyler escapes him and runs to the nearby carnival. Unknown to the soldiers Chucky switched the red team's paintballs with live rounds. Chucky starts laughing again. Shelton sees Chucky giving him the middle finger just as he is shot in the chest by Major Rawlings, killing him. Ellis accuses Andy of causing Shelton's death, jumping on top of him and punching him repeatedly. As Kristen tries to separate them, Whitehurst notices an armed grenade thrown near them by Chucky. He sacrifices himself to contain the grenade blast, saving his fellow cadets. With the confusion of the whole situation, Ellis lets Andy go and orders Rawlings to get Clark on the radio and get a medic up to where they are. Andy and Kristen see Tyler running away so they chase after him and Ivers crying over Whitehurst's death. At the carnival, Tyler sees the security guard kicking out teenagers and runs after him into the Lost and Found tent. He tells the guard that Chucky is after him, but the guard believes that this guy is only a friend that did something bad. In order to cheer Tyler up, he gives the boy the Chucky doll he just found. By the time Andy and Kristen finally catch up and reach the tent, they are too late. They find the guard's dead body on the ground with no sight of Tyler and Chucky. Before they leave, Kristen takes the guard's gun as they pursue them. Chucky takes Tyler hostage with a gun and orders him into a haunted house called the Devil's Lair he finds with Andy and Kristen right behind them. When Chucky gets knocked over, Tyler tries to hide but is found by Chucky. Andy and Kristen manage to find Tyler and Chucky, Tyler runs away as Kristen fails to shoot Chucky but he shoots her in the leg, leaving Andy to fight Chucky alone. She gives Andy the gun. Tyler manages to get on the tracks and ducks a toboggan coming his way. When Tyler runs away, he slips and gets his leg stuck in a whole. When Chucky appears behind him and stands up, a huge Grim Reaper statue swings its scythe, slicing the left side of Chucky's face clean off. Tyler gets his leg out and runs away, leaving Chucky screaming. Tyler finds a flying animatronic and gets on it, Chucky manages to hitch a ride on its legs. The two get on the top of the fake skull mountain. Andy finds them but Tyler gets knocked unconscious by the same flying animatronic's wing above his head. Chucky begins his chant and nearly succeeds in taking over Tyler's body, but lightning from the storm he conjures misses him and Tyler, giving Andy extra time to save his friend. Andy climbs the fake skull mountain and sees a giant fan below it. Andy finally gets to the top. Although he misses the first shot, he manages to shoot off one of Chucky's arms, then his chest, and stops his chant. As Andy wakes up Tyler, Chucky angrily springs back and puts his remaining arm around Andy's neck. Tyler is slipping from Andy's hands. Tyler hands Andy his pocketknife, which he uses to cut off Chucky's remaining hand, and throws him off of him. Chucky falls into a propelling fan, shredding him to pieces. Afterwards, the medics arrive and treat Kristen her gunshot wound. She asks Andy if he is going to be okay, but he reassures her that he has been through this before. She smiles at him, as she is taken away and he is loaded into the back of a police car as the carnival closes.

She then attempts to resurrect his soul with a book called Voodoo For Dummies. When it appears to not work, she angrily tosses the book away. Her moment is interrupted by her unwanted lover Damien Baylock, who lets himself in. In an attempt to get her affection, he shows her a photo of a victim he killed. Regardless, she recognizes his nail polish and knows he faked it. Walking away, she notices that Chucky is missing and becomes excited. She tries tricking Damien to provoke Chucky, asking him to crawl under a stool to get her lipstick. Before anything happens, her pet spider Charlotte lands on him, causing him to scream and recoil. Tiffany laughs at this, and puts her spider back into her cage. During this, Damien jumps onto her bed in an attempt to seduce her. While she finds this laughable, she is surprised to find Chucky sitting next to her. He teases Tiffany for her obsession of the doll, but she notes that the doll would make an interesting sex toy. As Damien rushes back to the bed, she cuffs his arms and legs to the bedposts. She places Chucky on his chest, and begins to perform a striptease. To incite Chucky, she tells Damien that he can be jealous and will kill anyone who looks at her. When Damien jokes about Chucky's size, the doll comes alive, and smothers him with a pillow. Damien shouts for Tiffany for help, but she joyfully watches him be killed. After she gets reacquainted with Chucky, she brings up the ring she found the night he was gunned down, thinking it is an engagement ring. With Jade gone, David offers Jesse his own advice: to take Jade, leave town, and never look back.

Before Jesse helps Tiffany, she notices some of Damien's hair so she puts it in. Jesse comes over and helps Tiffany lift a heavy trunk into the back of her car. She flirts with him and attempts to ask him out on a date, but he politely turns her down as he is dating Jade. Before he goes, she gives him the advice to treat her right and never take Jade for granted. Tiffany leaves to dump Damien's body in a river and buys Chucky a gift. In the playpen, Chucky draws terrible imagery and misuses the toys when Tiffany gets back. When Tiffany talks about marriage, Chucky takes it as a proposal and says he’ll treat her right but it’s actually a Wedding Belle doll she locks in with him as to mock him. She then throws rice in Chucky's face where he promises to kill her. He also rips off the bridal dolls necklace. Tiffany leaves to take a bath and watch television. She shuts the curtains. In the bath, she is watching a news broadcast where Lieutenant Preston is interviewed by the murders of Bailey and Damien. Tiffany then switches the channel to Bride of Frankenstein. Unbeknownst to Tiffany, Chucky begins sawing out of the pen with the ring from the doll. When he breaks out, he grabs the bridal doll and a knife, then slowly walks over to Tiffany. Chucky attacks Tiffany and knocks the TV into the tub, fatally electrocuting her. He proceeds to transfer her soul into the bridal doll, to make her understand what it is like to be trapped in a doll body. Tiffany grabs the Voodoo For Dummies book to try to find a way out. Chucky says she needs him to get out of their bodies. Tiffany says she’ll do it herself. Chucky explains to her a plan to use his old voodoo amulet to transfer their souls into new bodies. Chucky's old body has the amulet, and he is buried in the cemetery in Hackensack, New Jersey. Tiffany thinking there’s no hope, she starts crying until Chucky tells her to shut up. Jesse realizing he has an opportunity to run away with Jade, he accepts. Tiffany then transforms her doll body to fit her style. Jesse picks up the dolls and drives to Jade's place. Jade sits outside her house talking to David about his old boyfriend when Jesse suddenly pulls up in his van. David leaves after he says he wants details. He convinces her to elope with him which she accepts. Chucky gives them six months, three if Jade gets pregnant. When Jesse helps Jade to pack, Warren tries to break into the van, unsuccessful. While he goes to the garage to grab a crowbar, Chucky and Tiffany discuss ways to kill him. Tiffany uses Martha Stewart's lessons on improvisation to inspire Chucky to try something new. Chucky tries to grab a hammer but Tiffany calls that predictable too. Tiffany notices nails they can use. Warren breaks into the van to plant a bag of marijuana for Norton to find later, ensuring Jesse's arrest. However, as he hides the marijuana, he hears Tiffany's laughter coming from the front seat. He only finds Tiffany and Chucky in the front of the van, with a line of nails placed in the glove compartment. On Tiffany's command, Chucky cuts the air bag holding the nails free and lets them fly straight into Warren's face, supposedly killing him. When Jesse and Jade head to the van, Chucky and Tiffany stash his body in a trunk and hurriedly clean up the mess. Jesse throws the luggage in the back, hitting Tiffany. Jesse also notices the door unlocked but they don’t care. Before they can leave Lockport, Norton pulls them over in a public area and makes them step out. Jade punches him but he doesn’t do anything. Jesse tells Jade to get snacks while Norton investigates the van. As Chucky is trying stop Norton from finding Warren's body, he throws the bag of marijuana at Jesse's seat so Norton can find it. Norton warns Jesse about the marijuana, and he goes back into his police car to report it. Chucky takes Tiffany's lighter and a cloth. Chucky crawls over the Norton's police car, shoves the cloth into the gas tank, and lights it. Before Chucky crawls back to the van, he gives the middle finger to a stoner. When Norton begins to smell the smoke, the dolls wave to him before his car explodes. Jesse and Jade quickly run back into their van and drive away. People accuse them of killing Norton. The two begin to blame one another for killing Norton. David calls to inform them that the police department believes they are connected to Norton and Bailey's murders and Warren is missing. He suggests that although he believes they are innocent, they should turn themselves in until everything can be figured out but Jesse refuses. Jesse and Jade drive to Niagara Falls. They stop outside a Honeymoon Sweets 24-hour wedding chapel. Although they hesitate, they walk inside to get married. Chucky turns on music and calls out terrible 90's music. Tiffany says her dream is getting married and Chucky apologizes. When Chucky says life is full of surprises, Warren regains his consciousness and pushes out of his entrapment in the trunk. He screams upon seeing the living dolls, and then tries to crawl away to find help. Tiffany eggs Chucky on to deal with Warren, and he finally meets his end as Chucky stabs him to death with a large knife. They hide his corpse back in the trunk. Jesse and Jade then spend the night at the adjoining motel, bringing the dolls inside. They watch the news when a couple, Russ and Diane, purposely run into them in their suite, with Diane dressed in lingerie and Russ wearing a robe and boxers. They pretend to be newlyweds, mistake that the suite is theirs, and then small talk with the couple about their two dolls. Diane finds Tiffany cute, but is put off by Chucky's disfigured face. Russ says he remembers Good Guys. While he husband distracts them with the possibility of an orgy, Diane steals Jesse's wallet, with the $500 inside. Tiffany notices. After Jesse and Jade refuse to share a room with them, they leave back to their room, which is right next door. Later while Russ and Diane having sex back in their room, Diane sees Tiffany's reflection from the ceiling, and tries to tell her husband, but to no avail. Tiffany throws an empty wine bottle at the mirrored ceiling, smashing it and sending large shards of glass down onto them, killing them instantly. Chucky is so amazed that he proposes to her with Diane's ring and they have sex. In the night, Jade phones David as she is scared that Jesse is a killer and has lost his mind. He suggests to her that she should go to the police, but she is unsure that she can go through with it as she still loves him. Jesse then phones David about his suspicions of Jade being the killer. David suggests that he go to the police, before someone else gets hurt.

In the morning, a maid comes into Russ and Diane's room to clean, she happens upon the bodies of the couple. Horrified at what she sees, she screams, which alerts Jesse and Jade who grab their belongings and run back into the van and prepare to drive away. Before they do, they continue to blame one another for the multiple murders, just as David arrives. As they drive, David manages to calm them down by explaining his reasons that neither of them could be killers. Just as the couple begin to see he's right and reconcile, David discovers Warren's dead body. Grabbing Warren's gun, David orders Jesse to pull over. As David tries to get the attention of a police car passing by, Chucky and Tiffany finally reveal themselves and hold everyone at gunpoint. David, unknowingly, backs too far off the road and is hit by a semi. They drive away with Jade looking at the semi. As the police car chases them, Jade opens the door and Chucky shoots at them. Now being held hostage, Chucky and Tiffany reveal their plan to use Jesse and Jade as their new bodies. They all overhear the news that Charles Lee Ray's finger prints were found at the murders and will be examined. The dolls get worried.

To keep the police of their trail, the dolls murder an old couple and hijack their RV as they make their way to New Jersey. Along the way, Tiffany puts makeup on Jade, fitting her own style and makes cookies for Chucky. Tiffany grabs an apron from a cabinet and serves Chucky. When Chucky tells Jesse that he loves marriage, Jesse then secretly gets Jade into a plan to turn the two dolls on one another, pointing out each other's flaws. As Tiffany and Chucky argue, Jade kicks Tiffany into the oven and Jesse pushes Chucky out of the window as he shoots at him, causing the RV to run off the road and into a ditch, knocking Jesse out. Jade, still tied to a chair, is attacked by the burnt Tiffany. Jesse becomes conscious again, throws Tiffany, and unties her and manages to get her out of the RV, where she is held hostage by Chucky. Jesse moves electrical wires and puts them toward the leaking gas tank and tries to blow it up with Tiffany in it, he jumps out as the vehicle explodes behind him. Tiffany tries to grab her gun but Jesse steps on her arm and takes it away from her. He is about to shoot her when he sees Jade getting forced to go to the Forest Creek Cemetery by Chucky. Jesse grabs Tiffany by the hair and runs with her. At Charles Lee Ray's grave, Chucky shoots a medical examiner who is digging up his coffin. He forces Jade in his grave. When she hesitates, Chucky shoots a warning bullet at her. Jade grabs the Heart of Damballa, breaking Charles Lee Ray's corpses neck and throws it to Chucky. Jesse then appears with Tiffany, and they trade hostages. While Jesse and Jade embrace, Chucky throws his knife at Jade, but Jesse turns her around and is stabbed in the back. Jade pulls the knife at and throws it back to Chucky. Chucky ties up Jesse and Jade for the ritual. When he performs the chant, Tiffany has second thoughts. Tiffany crawls over to Chucky to seduce and kiss him. While kissing, Tiffany pulls the knife out of Chucky's pocket and stabs him in the back. He rolls down the hill and asks Tiffany why, she says they belong dead. While this is happening, Jade and Jesse break out of their ropes and kiss. While Tiffany is watching, Chucky sneaks up on her and her with a shovel. Tiffany throws dirt at Chucky and grabs another shovel and start to fight. The fight ends when Chucky impales Tiffany with his knife. As Chucky looks at Tiffany's supposedly dead body, Jesse knocks Chucky into his corpses grave with a shovel and takes away the ladder. Jade is about to shoot Chucky when Lieutenant Preston arrives and orders Jade to drop the gun. When Preston gets distracted by Chucky, Jade grabs his gun and shoots Chucky, not before him saying he’ll be back. Preston then gets a call from his superiors and clears Jesse and Jade of the murders. He sends the couple on their way. He notices Tiffany and pokes her to see if she’s actually dead. Suddenly, Tiffany springs to life screaming as a bloody, screeching, sharp-toothed baby doll emerges from under her dress. She then dies as the baby kills Preston.

Later, a British ventriloquist named Psychs is walking in the cemetery. He notices the baby eating Preston's corpse. The baby attacks Psychs but doesn’t kill him. He takes the doll baby with him to England, naming it ShitFace.

She kicks the reporters out of the house when they press the issue, and storms off. Later that night and with everyone gone, Lexy drops the ruse. She reassures Caroline that Chucky did kill everyone and to never trust a doll. She bludgeons the doll against the floor for good measure, gives Caroline a knife for her protection, and ties the doll up away from her to a rocking chair. On the other side of Hackensack, Devon sits alone in his room. Jake climbs in through the window, having snuck away and taken an Uber two hours from Salem. The two contemplate a picture of the Wedding Belle doll Lexy sent them and what Chucky might be playing at, before heading off to her house. The two climb through the window and share hugs. Lexy makes a bitter comment that she's been given the small room. Jake points toward a joint and says flatly that he thought she quit smoking. Lexy, in no mood to be lecture, snaps back that Jake hasn't stopped self-medicating his anxiety. Jake says it's not the same thing, as he has a medical condition, but so long as she's just smoking and not doing anything else, they aren't going to harp on her. They ask if she found out anything about the doll, and she tells them she tried bashing it against the floor, but nothing happened. Michelle, hearing voices, comes down the corridor. Jake and Devon hide in the closet. Lexy tells her mother that she was just singing Caroline a lullaby. Michelle escorts Lexy back to her room and Devon and Jake leave shortly after.

November 2[]

Meanwhile, Caroline tells Lexy that she has to take her to school and that their mother had already left for the day. She adds that the Wedding Belle doll is just a doll, and not possessed. Lexy tells Caroline she will be just a minute, and pockets two apples. She brings the food back to her room where Devon and Jake are waiting. She tells them that she thinks the other night was just a prank, and excuses herself to the restroom, where she crushes up her several of her mother's Clonazepam and snorts them. Meanwhile, downstairs, there is a knock at the door, and Caroline answers. It's Gary, with Chucky holding a bomb made of fertilizer and butane. Caroline, frozen with fear, lets Chucky and Gary into the house. They are soon joined by Devon and Jake, who are powerless to do anything, lest Chucky detonate the bomb and kill all of them. Chucky says that he's going to kill them all as revenge for foiling his plan to send seventy-two Chuckies all over the world. He tells those present that he's unafraid of a kamikaze mission since there are even more of his incarnations running around. He assures them that he won't truly die and it is therefore worth it to "waste" a life. Lexy, in a haze, begins to walk down the stairs. Her eyes barely focused, she notices Chucky with a bomb and freezes. Just as Chucky is about to detonate the bomb, Devon leaps forward and tases him. The bomb falls to the floor. Gary, naïvely thinking this is all play, carries the bomb into the kitchen and comes face-to-face with the Wedding Belle. He looks at the doll for a few moments before Chucky, appears behind him and pushes the plunger on the detonator, killing himself and Gary instantly.

At Dr. Mixter's office, a District Attorney admonishes the children for building homemade explosives, the trio having been blamed for Gary's untimely death. He informs them that they will be placed in a juvenile detention center for incredibly violent and troubled youths. However, Dr. Mixter intercedes on their behalf, and instead persuades the DA to send them to a Catholic reformatory school for ne'er-do-wells, the School of the Incarnate Lord, where she previously did work.

When the kids arrive, they realize that they had been sent to what was formerly the Burlington Home for Wayward Boys, the orphanage where Charles Lee Ray spent his youth. With Caroline having been given the Wedding Belle doll, and now at the place where Chucky began much of his life of crime, the trio contemplate if Dr. Mixter is in league with Chucky. They don't have much time to dwell on it, however, as they arrive and are greeted by the stern abbess, Sister Ruth. January 15[]

Tiffany has taken Caroline with her to Times Square. In order to avoid suspicion as Jennifer Tilly is still wanted for murder, she gets a black wig and dresses in a more gothic fashion. This night, Caroline is reading the Voodoo For Dummies when Tiffany receives a call from Nica, who explains that she calls GG once a week but is still coming to torture and kill her, and discloses that she is staying in a hotel opposite to her. Realizing she is out of time, Tiffany proceeds with the ritual to possess the Wedding Belle doll, but for some reason it does not work. As the doll rises up on its own, it begins removing its contact lenses and wig to reveal that it was Chucky all along. He proceeds to advance on Tiffany with a knife as she screams.

Before Chucky can kill her, he is forced to stop as the police, called by Nica, break down the door and arrest Tiffany for first degree murder, which they believe was committed by Jennifer Tilly. Caroline sneaks out of the hotel with Chucky in her arms. Tiffany is taken into a police car outside the hotel screaming for her book and Chucky’s existence as everyone cheers. Nica watches her until she is driven away. After the police car takes Tiffany away, Nica notices Caroline and Chucky and chases after them, but she is unable to follow them when they head down the stairs into the subway. Chucky teases her before they leave. They get on a subway and ride it until they get off on an exit. Chucky whistles for a cab. The two then get into a cab. The driver tries to make conversation but Chucky tells him to drive, leaving him surprised. He believes it to be an interactive AI robot doll, and plays along as Chucky insists he shut up and keep his eyes on the road. Chucky and Caroline discuss his upcoming plans for his kill list, to go after his remaining enemies: Andy, Kyle, Nica, Jake, Devon, Lexy, Glen, and Glenda. He offers if Caroline has enemies so she says her first grade teacher, Mrs. Sherman. This leaves the driver disturbed. Chucky compliments Caroline for her potential to become a serial killer, but she corrects him as she has never actually killed anyone before. The driver enquires on where she got her doll, to which he replies that he's one of a kind. When he asks what they have been talking about, Chucky simply replies their discussion was about killing people. Freaked out by Chucky's answer, the driver tells his passengers that they will have to find another ride. He pulls over into an alleyway, continuing his rant about how insulted he is over Chucky. While the driver is mumbling to himself, Chucky reaches down to an umbrella by his feet. Knocking the driver's seat back, Chucky lunges the umbrella down the man's throat and pushes forward until it is completely lodged inside him. He opens the umbrella and explodes the driver's throat, coating the inside of the cab with his blood. Caroline and Chucky celebrate and stay the night at a hotel.

January 16[]

Chucky is seen killing Andy but it turns out to be a dream. In his bed, he discovers that he is losing his hair and getting wrinkles under his eyes. Taking the Voodoo For Dummies book from sleeping Caroline's arms, he reads what to do with signs of aging. As step one is to vacate the vessel, he attempts to transfer his soul into Caroline, but learns that he does not work. Caroline wakes up, and informs him that as his vessel is aging, he must see a voodoo doctor. Chucky makes an appointment. They check in and take a seat. Before Chucky gets called, he sees other Damballa users waiting. In the doctor's office, he is physically examined by Dr. Rosen. When asked if he has been practicing any other religions, Chucky admits he had been involved in an exorcism last year. Dr. Rosen reveals Chucky has been infected with Christian magic, meaning Damballa has abandoned him, he is dying and he can no longer possess other vessels. Chucky asks if he can have herbs or easily jump into a new body but Dr. Rosen says it won’t work. This leaves Chucky worried and asks how to stop it. Dr. Rosen remembers the only cure is a ritual that hasn't been attempted since the Crusades, which involves six people being sacrificed inside of an evil house. This ritual requires an evil of a magnitude that the doctor says even Chucky can’t comprehend. It could be either successful or unsuccessful. Thinking of an evil place, Chucky and Caroline head to Amityville, New York to the Amityville Horror House, where a party is being held inside. Caroline asks what’s so special about this house and Chucky tells her the backstory and that it’s a Dutch colonial. The two are let inside when Caroline pretends to be lost. Although he murders all eight people inside the ritual is unsuccessful, concluding that the house wasn't evil enough.
