After driving his truck up the road, he knocks on the door to the Pierce house and Nica answers, who he immediately recognizes her as he once went to the same collage as her.
They talk about their parents and he tells her that he'll see her around before leaving. Nica feels the need to ask him out but her mother tells her that he was just being nice.
