Daniel Pierce is the deceased husband of Sarah Pierce, and was one of the only known victims of the Lakeshore strangler, Charles Lee Ray.

Daniel was the happy father of one daughter, with another on the way. But that all changed when he introduced his mutual friend Charles to his wife Sarah, and he became obsessed with her. Charles knew that he could not have Sarah while she was married, so he decided to act.
One night Daniel is walking home from work one rainy night, and Charles drives beside him offering to drive him home. Sometime during this ride Charles manages to subdue and drown him. His funeral is seen in Chucky's flashback.
